User Responsibility

DEWR is collecting the information on this form for the purpose of providing you with access to E-Calendar. Giving false or misleading information is a serious offence.

You must use the eCalendar for the purpose of viewing and/or providing valid information relating to occupational health and safety (OHS) or workers' compensation events to the Office of the Australian Safety and Compensation Council.

It is the responsibility of all Users to ensure that access to DEWR systems are properly secured and controlled and information is not falsified, inappropriately modified or destroyed. In particular you have the responsibility to ensure:

Access Privileges - only access facilities which you have been authorised to use. No attempts are to be made to bypass or defeat the security systems nor to obtain the use of privileges issued to other Users.

Confidentiality of Passwords – Personal passwords are regarded as sensitive and must be protected from disclosure and compromise. Never use or share another User’s UserID and never disclose your password. Individuals are personally responsible for any computer processing performed under their UserID. Should security breaches of this type occur, the offending User’s access to DEWR computing resources may be suspended pending investigation.

Reporting Lapses of Security – Any known or suspected attempts to obtain unauthorised access to DEWR systems or other attempts to bypass or defeat security must be reported immediately to DEWR Service Desk. Phone: 1300 305 520
